The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is known for its flat and fast course that starts and finishes in Grant Park and travels through one of the world’s most magnificent cities. The current Men's world record time of 2:00:35 was set by Kevin Kiptum (Kenya) at this course on 8th October 2023, and the Women's world record time of 2:09.56 was recently set by Ruth Chepngetich (Kenya) on 13th October 2024. The course has also produced other world records, several national records and countless personal bests. Runners enjoy the support of 1.7 million spectators as they run through 29 neighborhoods.

This race will be held on Sunday 12th October 2025.

THURSDAY 09 OCT 2025

Morning arrival in Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and take the airport shuttle service or cab to the hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area, eat out for lunch, or head out for an easy jog along the river to refresh your blood circulation after the long-haul flight
Free and easy for the rest of the day

FRIDAY 10 OCT 2025

Morning run along the river, towards the Millennium Park & Grant Park (Marathon start & finish area)
Guided trip to the Race Expo for the Race Pack collection (via public transport)
Architectural Tour (River Cruise)

SATURDAY 11 OCT 2025

Optional Chicago 5k, which starts at Grant Park & finishes at the Daley Center Plaza
Move on freely from there or take a leisurely walk back to the hotel
Marathon eve carbo-loading dinner 

SUNDAY 12 OCT 2025 (RACE DAY)

Meet up at the hotel and head for the start line together
Enjoy a terrific marathon while we wish you the best for a race of your lifetime
After crossing the finish line, take an easy walk back to the hotel
Choice of resting in the hotel or replenishing your energy in one of the nearby restaurants while sharing first hand your experience and excitement with your partners and running peers

MONDAY 13 OCT 2025

Sleep in or recovery run along the river & the lake
Check out and head for the airport to catch the flight home or to your next destination
