The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is known for its flat and fast course that starts and finishes in Grant Park and travels through one of the world’s most magnificent cities. The course has produced four world records, several national records and countless personal bests. Runners enjoy the support of 1.7 million spectators as they run through 29 neighborhoods. This race will be held on Sunday 8th October 2023.

THURSDAY 05 OCT 2023

Morning arrival in Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and take the airport shuttle service or cab to the hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area, eat out for lunch, or head out for an easy jog along the river to refresh your blood circulation after the long-haul flight
Free and easy for the rest of the day

FRIDAY 06 OCT 2023

Morning run along the river, towards the Millennium Park & Grant Park (Marathon start & finish area)
Race Pack collection in the morning via the shuttle service provided by the organisers
Architectural Tour (River Cruise)

SATURDAY 07 OCT 2023

Optional Chicago 5k, which starts at Grant Park & finishes at the Daley Center Plaza (near to the hotel)
Move on freely from there or take a leisurely walk back to the hotel
Marathon eve carbo-loading dinner 

SUNDAY 08 OCT 2023 (RACE DAY)

Meet up at the hotel and head for the start line together
Enjoy a terrific marathon while we wish you the best for a race of your lifetime
After crossing the finish line, take an easy walk back to the hotel
Choice of resting in the hotel or replenishing your energy in one of the nearby restaurants while sharing first hand your experience and excitement with your partners and running peers

MONDAY 09 OCT 2023

Sleep in or recovery run along the river & the lake
Check out and head for the airport to catch the flight home or to your next destination
