The Sydney Marathon is a candidate race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM). Run one of the world’s most scenic marathon courses, taking in some of Sydney’s most spectacular and historic landmarks including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
This event will be held on Sunday 17th September 2023.
WEDNESDAY 13 SEP 2023 (6D5N PACKAGE)
Arrival at Sydney Airport, and make your way to your chosen hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area, eat out for lunch & chill in the afternoon
In the late afternoon, join the group for a shake-out run around the harbour, and followed by a meet & greet session
Dinner on your own, and free & easy in the evening
THURSDAY 14 SEP 2023 (5D4N PACKAGE)
(6D5N tour package) - Morning run or sleep in, and head for breakfast at the hotel
Mid-morning, meet at the hotel foyer for a half-day sightseeing tour of Sydney, which then finishes at the Race Expo
Rest of the day, free to explore Sydney on your own
(5D4N tour package) - Arrival at Sydney Airport, and make your way to your chosen hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area, eat out for lunch & chill in the afternoon
In the late afternoon, join the group for a shake-out run around the harbour, and followed by a meet & greet session
Dinner on your own, and free & easy in the evening
FRIDAY 15 SEP 2023
(6D5N tour package) - After a leisurely breakfast, the rest of the day is free to explore Sydney, and this would be a great opportunity to use the 1-day Hop on Hop off ferry pass which is included in your tour package
(5D4N tour package) - After a leisurely breakfast, we will escort runners to the Sydney Marathon Expo, and you can enjoy the expo at your own pace, and make your way back to the hotel
(Evening for everyone on our tour packages)
We will host an exclusive Sydney Harbour Cruise, and for 2 hours you will enjoy the beauty of the harbour as you look back onto the Sydney skyline
The cruise will include light refreshments and a complimentary drink
SATURDAY 16 SEP 2023
After breakfast, join us for an easy run for about 5km (optional)
Free & easy for the rest of the day
Pre-race buffet dinner at a private location for everyone on our tour packages
SUNDAY 17 SEP 2023 (RACE DAY)
After an early breakfast, runners will be escorted to the start area
The start location is at Milsons Point, which is a short walk and train journey away. Trains are free for all runners.
After the race, recharge in a dedicated area at the hotel
MONDAY 18 SEP 2023
Leisurely breakfast, relax and get ready for check out by 11 am
